Cheese Pizza Recipe

Ingredients:

For the dough:

  • 2 cups plain flour (maida)

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

  • 1 teaspoon dry yeast

  • ¾ cup warm water

For the sauce:

  • 1 cup tomato paste or crushed tomatoes

  • 1 teaspoon oil

  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic

  • A little salt

  • A pinch of chili flakes (optional)

  • A pinch of oregano (optional)

For the topping:

  • 1 to 2 cups grated mozzarella cheese

  • Some fresh basil leaves (if available)

  • Some grated Parmesan (optional)

 How to Make It:

1. Make the Dough

  • In a bowl, mix warm water and yeast. Wait 5 minutes so the yeast gets active.

  • Add flour, sugar, salt, and oil. Mix everything well.

  • Knead (press and fold) the dough for 8–10 minutes until soft.

  • Cover the bowl and let the dough rest for 1 hour. It will rise and become bigger.

2. Make the Sauce

  • Heat a little oil in a pan.

  • Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds.

  • Add tomato paste, salt, oregano, and chili flakes.

  • Cook for 5 minutes on low heat. Turn off the stove.

3. Make the Pizza

  • Heat your oven to 220°C (or 430°F).

  • Roll out the dough into a round shape.

  • Spread the tomato sauce on the dough.

  • Sprinkle lots of cheese on top.

  • Add basil or anything else you like.

4. Bake the Pizza

  • Place it in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes.

  • The cheese will melt, and the crust will turn golden.

5. Ready to Eat

  • Cut the pizza into slices and enjoy hot!

 Extra Tips:

  • Don’t have an oven? You can also make this in a pan with a lid on low heat.

  • You can add other toppings like onions, olives, or mushrooms.
